US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense advanced anti-missile system is now “in place” in Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

He declined to say whether THAAD was operational but said, “We have the ability to put it into operation very quickly, and we’re on pace with our expectations.”
