Over 200,000 people flee Lebanon into Syria: UN refugees agency chief

The head of UNHCR has said that over 200,000 Lebanese citizens and Syrians in Lebanon have fled to neighbouring Syria to escape Israeli bombing raids.

In a post on X, Filippo Grandi stated that the organisation is continuing relief efforts in the region with the aid of the Syrian Red Crescent.
