Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reports that the Israeli air raids hit two areas of south Beirut.

NNA reported a “violent enemy strike” that targeted a building in Jnah, near the Zahraa Hospital in Dahiyeh neighbourhood and fewer than 500 metres (1,640 feet) from a shelter housing thousands of displaced people.

Minutes later, Israeli fighter jets hit a building near the Kuwaiti embassy.

The Israeli military said it conducted “a precise strike in Beirut”, without immediately offering further details.
