French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot will travel to Lebanon this evening, Al Jazeera reports according to a statement issued by his office.

“We confirm that the minister is going to Lebanon this weekend to talk with local authorities and provide French support, particularly humanitarian support,” the statement added.
