UN Secretary General António Guterres has said that two million Palestinians are “in a living hell that somehow gets even worse by the day”.

“In the face of catastrophic conditions, the women and men of UNRWA persevere,” the UN chief said on X.

“Now is the time to work on all fronts to intensify support for the agency’s vital mission,” he added.
