Israel’s military has ordered more Gaza neighbourhoods to evacuate, saying it will wage attacks against fighters it claims are based there, Al Jazeera reports.

In a post on X, the Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee listed six neighbourhood blocks that must “immediately move”. Several of them were previously considered part of Gaza’s “humanitarian zone”.

The evacuated areas are in eastern Deir el-Balah, Qarara, al-Mawasi, al-Jalaa, Hamad City and al-Nasr.
