Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has met Iran’s acting foreign minister in Tehran, becoming the first senior Jordanian representative to pay an official visit to Iran in over 20 years, Al Jazeera reports.
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said that Safadi “will deliver a message from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the situation in the region and bilateral relations”.
