The far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has said he’s backing former US President Donald Trump in the November election because he’ll support action against Iran, Al Jazeera reports.

“I believe that with Trump, Israel will receive the backing to act against Iran,” Ben-Gvir told Bloomberg News.

“With Trump, it will be clearer that enemies must be defeated.”
