At least 121 people, most of them women and children, have been killed since the beginning of the Israeli assault on the eastern areas of Khan Younis, Gaza’s civil defence has announced according to Al Jazeera.

It said in a statement that teams are working to evacuate many people trapped in the town of Bani Suheila, in eastern Khan Younis.
