MANSEHRA: Police on Saturday arrested two fraudsters, who attempted to kidnap a lady doctor impersonating themselves as officials of a spy agency.

“We have arrested two fraudsters, who threatened a lady doctor impersonating themselves as officials of a secret agency,” Aurangzeb Khan, the SHO Baffa police station, told journalists.

He said that the arrested identified as Waqar Shan of Chinarkot area, now settled in the Dub area, and Rafiullah of Battagram sent messages to a lady doctor of Shinkiari area, settled in Abbottabad, on her Tiktok account.

“They also attempted to kidnap her when she was on her way to Shinkiari, but we took prompt action and arrested both of them and seized the car used in the crime,” Mr Khan said.

He said that the accused repeatedly transmitted messages on her account and threatened her to establish relations with them. “When she refused to accept their demands, they attempted to kidnap her,” he said.

Police arrested both of them and registered case against them under sections 365, 511 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code.
