BAHAWALPUR: Vehari Saddar police on Thursday arrested two youngsters on charges of harassing and teasing a university girl student during her journey in a bus.

According to police spokesman Adnan Tariq, the student was on her way to Vehari from Faisalabad by a bus. Two youngsters sitting on back seats of the bus were harassing her with objectionable gestures and sentences. Near Burewala Saddar police precincts, the girl made an emergency call at 15. As a result, a police team rushed to the spot and took the suspects into custody.

Police have registered a case.
