KARACHI: A huge fire that erupted in a warehouse in Korangi on Sunday morning was put out after several hours, police and fire officials said.

A Fire Brigade official said that seven fire engines managed to control the raging blaze and now cooling work was continued.

He said that clothes and plastic items were stored in the warehouse and all the goods were destroyed in the incident.

However, the exact cause of fire and estimation of financial loss could not be ascertained till late in the night.
