VEHARI: Daneywal police on Saturday arrested a security guard for allegedly raping a bus hostess.
According to police, a private security guard locked the door of the bus which was parked at Vehari general bus stand and raped the hostess at gunpoint. After committing the crime, the guard managed to escape. The matter was reported to Daneywal police who arrested the guard from a locality on Luddan Road.
SHO Nasir Mehmood said the police had registered a case against the suspect after the girl’s medical report confirmed the rape.
