ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Zaryab Khan and Kazakhstan’s Azat Sarsembaev beat Aarav Samrat Hada of the United States and Nepal’s Aki Zuben Rawat in boys’s doubles final of the ITF Pakistan World Juniors Tennis Championships (second leg) here at the SDA-PTF Complex on Friday.
The Pakistan-Kazakhstan pair, which also won the title in the tournament’s first leg, notched up 6-4, 4-6 (10-5) result in what was a close contest.
The girls’ doubles title went to Turkiye’s Deren Ozel and Russia’s Polina Kaibekova as they beat Moldova-Kazakhstan duo of Lia Belibova and Melissa Jangarasheva 6-2, 6-1.
Earlier, Russia’s Amir Asylkozhaev and Hada made it to the final of the boys’ singles event. Asylkozhaev got the better of Uzbekistan’s Imran Khatibev 7-5, 6-1 while Hada defeated Pakistan’s Sami Zeb Khan 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
