Pakistan has reported 765 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, down from 861 a day earlier, and 22 additional fatalities.

The positivity rate has been recorded at 2.2 per cent, marking the sixth straight day it has remained under 3pc.

The countrywide breakdown is as follows:

  • Sindh: 358 cases, 3 deaths
  • Punjab: 214 cases, 4 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 99 cases, 14 deaths
  • Balochistan: 7 cases
  • Islamabad: 38 cases, 1 death
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 13 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 36 cases
