No compromise on law and order: Alyani

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that his government will not compromise on law and order situation in the province and it is determined to take all possible steps to curb terrorism and provide protection to the people.

Presiding over a meeting on law and order situation in the province here on Wednesday, he said that with an improvement in the overall security situation over last few years, business activities had flourished in the province.

The meeting observed that overall law and order situation in the province was satisfactory and resolved that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.

The meeting was briefed by Additional Chief Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Arshad Majeed on law and order situation in the province and the steps taken by the security institutions in this regard. He also informed the meeting about a comprehensive plan prepared by the authorities concerned to further improve law and order situation in the province and its implementation.

About security of foreign nationals in the province, the meeting decided to take all possible steps to ensure their protection. The officials concerned informed the meeting about the measures taken by the government in this regard.

The meeting was also briefed about the steps taken for elimination of miscreants and prevention of subversive activities in Balochistan.
