SUKKUR: The First Additional Sessions Judge of Criminal Model Trial Court, Jacobabad, on Monday sentenced two kidnappers to life imprisonment and imposed Rs100,000 fine on each of them.

Ashiq Ali Korejo and Barkat Ali Korejo were found guilty of abducting a married woman from her home located in the Ghar Panhja housing scheme and an FIR against them and their two alleged accomplices was lodged at the Saddar police station on Jan 1, 2020.

Complainant Ali Hassan Solangi had nominated Ashiq and Barkat along with Abdul Rasool and Ayaz Ali in the FIR stating that they forcibly took away his son’s wife, Nihalan Solangi. The case was registered at the Saddar police station.

The judge declared Abdul Rasool and Ayaz Ali proclaimed offenders as they are still at large.
