TAXILA: Three proclaimed offenders were arrested by Attock police on Sunday.
According to a police spokesman, a team of Jand police apprehended a man, wanted in a murder and attempted murder case, after 10 years.
The suspect, resident of Aurangabad, shot and killed a man identified as Sher Ahmed from the same locality and injured his sister on Nov 2, 2011. He went underground afterwards.
Behtar police arrested two suspects who snatched a pickup from the police station’s jurisdiction at gunpoint and fled, a year ago. Police raided their hideout and arrested them.
The snatched vehicle was also recovered from their possession.Meanwhile, a man identified as Pervaiz and his daughter were injured critically in an accident in the jurisdiction of Hazro police station.
Their vehicle crashed into a tree after the man lost control due to speeding.
The injured were taken to THQ Hospital from where they were shifted to Rawalpindi due to their critical condition.
