SHEIKHUPURA: Police could not find clue to a constable who had been missing for the last four days.

Ilyas in his statement said his son [constable] Adnan riding a bike had gone to his duty at Ferozewala police station from his Kanianwala residence but neither he reached office nor came back home.

Ilyas apprehended that his son might have been killed by rivals. A police source said a team had been formed on the orders of DPO to trace him.

ARRESTED: A joint team of Muridke Saddar and City police have arrested two drug traffickers and recovered 15 kgs contraband from their possession.

Following the orders of DPO Ghazi Salahuddin, a police party, led by Saddar SHO Afzal Dogar, raided Basra Colony and arrested Akmal and Asifa who had come from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to supply 10 kg hash and 5 kilo opium to a dealer.

On seeing the police, the dealer managed his escape. Further investigation is under way.
