LAHORE: The number of admissions to the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Regional Campus for its autumn semester-2018 has reached 70,074.

As many as 62,518 students got admission to spring semester-2018 and the number of students in previous autumn semester-2017 was 59,616.

The university has improved the quality of education under the leadership of Dr Ziaul Qayyum and tutors are available to the students and workshops are also conducted in time.

AIOU Lahore Regional Director Rasool Bakhsh Bahraam said they were continuously improving the admissions on the campus and were also providing best facilities to the students. He said they were also promoting curricular and extracurricular activities among students and Lahore campus had improved quality of education by providing facilities to the students.

He said they were ensuring the availability of books and syllabus to the students in time and were also providing best teachers for tuition to maintain the standard.
