LAHORE: Two cup races —the Dominator Cup and the December Cup — figure prominently in a strong eight-card of the Lahore Winter Meeting which takes place at the Racecourse on Sunday.
The Dominator Cup, which is the fifth event in the racing order, is a term race for two-year-old thoroughbred and half-bred horses and will be contested over 1,000 metres. It has a field of nine horses.
The December Cup, class VI div III and IV, whch is the next race has attracted 11 horses and will go over 1,200 metres. All in all, 99 probable horses have entered the day’s races and will vie for honours barring last-minute withdrawal(s).
The first race starts at 11:30am.
