Stay order vacated

QUETTA, Aug 8: A Balochistan High Court division bench on Friday vacated its stay order that restrained the customs department from destroying betel nuts confiscated under the adjudicator’s orders following a laboratory report that termed them unfit for human consumption.

The bench withdrew its interim order of July 30 that prohibited the department from destroying 324 tons of betel nuts.—Correspondent
