James, Boateng to join Ronaldinho in Pakistan

KARACHI: Former England goalkeeper David James and former Dutch midfielder George Boateng will join Bra­zilian legend Ronaldinho during his eagerly-anticipated visit to Pakistan in July, organisers annou­nced on Thursday.

At a news conference, Leisure Leagues Pakis­tan disclosed that James and Boateng will join Ronaldinho in his World XI team when they face a Pakistan XI in an exhibition match.

James, who counts Liverpool and Manches­ter City as clubs he played for during his career, last played for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters in 2014.

Boateng, played for Aston Villa and Middlesbrough in the Premier League, is currently director at Malaysian club Kelantan FA.The organisers also announced that top players who link up with Leisure Leagues will get a chance to play in the match with Ronaldinho.
