Sana Mir becomes first Pakistani woman to take 100 ODI wickets

Pakistan women cricket team's captain Sana Mir achieved another milestone on Wednesday as she took her 100th wicket in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Mir became the first Pakistani woman cricketer to reach the milestone of 100 ODI wickets. The International Cricket Council (ICC) also congratulated Mir in a tweet.

According to the ICC, Mir is the 15th player to reach the milestone in the history of women cricket.

She made the record during the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Bangladesh. Pakistan women team won the match by 67 runs.

Bismah becomes first to reach 2,000 ODI runs

Bismah Maroof also achieved a milestone during the same match and became the first Pakistani woman to reach the 2,000 ODI runs mark.
