USAID provides two mobile libraries

KARACHI: The Pakistan Reading Project, funded by the US Agency for Inter­national Development (USAID), launched two mobile libraries in Karachi.

Sindh Education Secretary Fazlullah Pechuho was among those who attended the launching ceremony, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.

Under the project, 6,000 computer tablets are also being provided to the first and second grade teachers in the province to improve the classroom learning environment.

The libraries will deliver Urdu and Sindhi reading material to more than 20,000 students in 200 primary schools across Sindh.
