LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court on Wednesday remanded 16 suspects in three-day police custody for their alleged involvement in lynching of a Christian couple from Kot Radha Kishan.

The investigating officer (IO) told the court interrogation from the newly arrested 16 was yet to be completed and requested for their physical remand.

The court granted the request and sent the suspects into police custody for three days. The court also sent four of the prime suspects to jail on judicial remand after the IO said their interrogation had been completed. These included brick kiln owner Muhammad Yousaf, local prayer leader Ghulam Hussain, Haris Bashir and Mehmand Jatt.
