LAHORE, Dec 31 Seven-goal Hissam Ali Haider helped Fresh Water beat Security 2000 11 1/2-2 in the Major General Bilal Omer Khan Shaheed Memorial Polo Cup here on Thursday.

Hissam, with a half-goal handicap, stole the show with two hat-tricks, while his team-mate Ahmad Ali Tiwana (3) and Ayaz Sheikh (1) were the other scorers.

For the losers, Captain Shaukat Ali Malik struck two.

In the other match of the day, five-goal Saqib Khan Khakwani propelled HSBC to a 9-5 win against Malir Garrison.

Atif Tiwana (2), Sufi Aamir, Sufi Haris were the other scorers with one goal each.

For the losing side, which also had a two-goal handicap Ris Khurshid pumped in three goals to make the tally.

Bilal, after whom the tournament is named, was recently killed in a terrorist attack on a mosque in Rawalpindi.
