Student killed

SAHIWAL, April 28: A four class student was crushed to death on Monday by a speeding truck on Lahore-Sahiwal Road near Chak 54/5-L.

Azim (9) was going along the roadside when the truck (BRB-9772) at high speed knocked him down.

The students staged a demonstration and blocked the road for an hour in protest.

Yousafwala police have arrested driver Muhammad Waris and registered a case against him.
