MINGORA, April 27: A suspension bridge in Miandam has collapsed due to heavy rains in the area.

A resident of the area told reporters on Sunday that the foundation of the bridge had weakened since long, but the authorities did not take care of it.

He said that the population of thousands of people was at the receiving end and needed immediate construction of the bridge.
