Dry weather forecast

ISLAMABAD, April 26: The Meteorological Department here on Saturday forecast mainly dry weather throughout the country while rain with thunderstorm at few places of upper Punjab, Hazara Division and Kashmir on Sunday.

The weather will remain partly cloudy at Islamabad and Peshawar while it is likely to be partly cloudy with chances of rain and thunderstorm at Lahore, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit.

During the last 24 hours, scattered rain occurred over the upper NWFP, upper Punjab and Kashmir.

A partly cloudy weather with chances of isolated light rain has been predicted for Northern Areas for Sunday.

The maximum temperature recorded Saturday was 44 degree Celsius at Sibbi while it was 30 at Islamabad, 34 at Lahore, 42 at Karachi, 33 at Peshawar, 28 at Quetta, 26 at Muzaffarabad, 16 at Murree, 39 at Multan, 34 at Faisalabad, 37 at Sargodha and 20 at Gilgit.
