Armyman dies in accident

NOWSHERA, April 26: An armyman died when he fell from a Lahore-bound bus near Dagai, on Saturday.

The Pabbi police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.

Mohammad Yousaf, a resident of Swabi district, told the police that his brother Wajid Ali, an armyman, was going to Lahore on the bus (LXP-5290) to resume his duties. During the journey Wajid felt nausea and asked the driver to stop the vehicle so that he could vomit.

But the driver told him to stand in the doorway and vomit, Yousaf said and added that Wajid fell near Dagai and died.

The police arrested driver Shamshad, a resident of Peshawar, and seized the vehicle.
