Double taxation

ISLAMABAD, April 26: A two-member tax delegation have left for Bishkek to start negotiations for conclusion of the convention for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

An official source said on Saturday the officials would hold talks with their Kyrgyz counterparts from April 28 to May 3 on the draft agreement for early conclusion of the convention.

According to the official, the Kyrgyz authorities were keen to conclude agreed draft urgently so that agreement might be signed during the Kyrgyz president’s proposed visit to Pakistan from May 22-23.
