Women`s badminton teams named

KARACHI, Dec 28 Former national champion Ayesha Akram has been named to lead National Bank in the second All-Pakistan Women's Badminton Tournament which runs at Karachi Club from Dec 30 to Jan 2.

Ayesha will also defend her singles crown in the contest which carry a total prize money of Rs45,000.

Besides the hosts, Wapda, Railways, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP are expected to feature in the competition.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Badminton Association (SBA) has also announced their team.

Sindh Monisha Kotia, Amna Khan, Aimen Khan, Mehwish Zaman, Faryal Shahzad, Mahoor Shahzad. Coach Mahiya Moin.
