Talib’s effort goes in vain

KARACHI, April 25: KBCA defeated Hinopak Motors by 61 runs and and UBL trounced Lahore Mills Stores by two wickets in KCCA Inter-firms Cricket League Tournament at Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground.

In the first match KBCA scored 244 for five wickets with Akbar Rahman (99) was unlucky to miss century. In reply Hinopak Motors were restricted to 183 for eight despite Talib Ali’s defiant 106. Aqeel Ashraf grabbed four four wickets for 47.

Lahore Mills secured scored for eight. Wajahuddin made an impressive 57, UBL in reply scored 213 for the loss of eight wickets. Tauseef Bhopali (79) led UBL’s victory march. Yousuf snatched four for 67.—APP
