USTA MOHAMMAD, April 24: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has ruled out any possibility of winding up of the democratic set-up as result of the present crisis and said all issues, including the LOF, will be resolved through negotiation with opposition.

Talking to reporters in Aliabad near Usta Mohammad on the eve of the Chehlum of his cousin, late Mir Abdul, on Thursday, the prime minister said: “I am hopeful about a positive outcome of Friday’s negotiations with the opposition. Every person is alive with hope.”

He said he would listen to the point of view of the opposition on the LOF and other issues with full attention and apprise them of the government’s stand.

He said that during negotiation with opposition the government would not only take up the LFO issue but would decide how to run the assembly smoothly. “I hope that the opposition parties will also respond positively with a desire to resolve issues through talks,” Jamali said.

Replying to a questioner who said confrontation between the government and the opposition would pave the way for dissolving the assemblies, Jamali ruled out such a possibility and asked as to why should the assemblies suffer due to the negative attitude of the opposition.
