MNAs’ funds formally approved

ISLAMABAD, April 24: The government has formally approved the distribution of Rs5 million development funds for each Member of National Assembly.

An official of the National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB) told Dawn here on Thursday the directive to this effect has been issued to the local government ministry to deal with Wapda, Sui gas company and telecommunications corporation for launching development schemes.

He said the funds would be utilised on three types of schemes related to power supply, Sui gas supply and telecommunications.
