HUB, Dec 7: Despite the complaints raised by local bodies’ representatives and the residents of the Lasbela district, the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) is yet to set up its billing sections at the Hub town and other areas of the district.

The people have been raising their voice against KESC’s injustices, including closing its Hub billing section about four months ago, but in vain.

They have to go to Karachi when and if they are issued faulty or inflated bills.

In a statement, issued here on Friday, Tehsil Bela Naib Nazim Anwar Ronjho, union council Nazims, including Azeem Sian, criticized the KESC, saying that the closure of the Hub billing section might lead to an “anti-KESC movement.”

They called upon KESC authorities to set up computerized and interlinked billing sections at Hub, Uthal and Bela without any delay.
