Show-cause notice to DSP

RAHIM YAR KHAN, April 21: The Bahawalpur police range DIG has issued show-cause notice to a DSP and suspended an ASI from service for taking bribe.

Sources told this correspondent that DSP Nazir Shah and ASI Akbar Veeha received Rs15,000 bribe for the registration of a case (No 25) at the Rahim Yar Khan Saddar police station.

On the basis of an inquiry report which declared the two guilty, the DIG suspended the ASI from service and issued show cause notice to the DSP.
