WASHINGTON, April 21: US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has circulated a memo within President George W. Bush’s administration suggesting the United States should work with China to seek the ouster of the North Korean leadership, The New York Times reported on Monday.
The memo was passed around days before Bush approved talks between the US, Chinese and North Korean officials in Beijing at a date still unannounced, and further highlights divisions within the administration.—dpa
