KHAIRPUR, April 19: Some unidentified attackers shot a man, Abdul Rehman Kalhoro, dead in Gahno Kalhoro village of Khairpur taluka on Friday.
ARRESTED: The Khairpur police have arrested five men — Javed, Nabi Bukhsh, Mohammad Urs, Allah Warayo and Bhatti — on the charge of electricity theft here on Saturday, following a letter from the SDO, Hyderabad Electric Supply Company, Khairpur.
CANNABIS: The excise police recovered 10kg cannabis from an accused, Asghar, on the National Highway near Shah Hussain Chowk on Saturday.
