NOWSHERA, April 16: Senior provincial minister Sirajul Haq has said that the cabinet would review the issue of ban on jobs and take a final decision in its next meeting.

He was speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of new office-bearers of Markazi Anjuman-i-Tajran here on Tuesday.

The senior minister said the two major challenges facing the provincial government were unemployment and price-hike. He said the MMA ministers and leaders fully realized the problems of the common man.

Mr Haq said the cabinet had already discussed the ban on government jobs in its previous meetings, adding that a final decision on lifting the ban would be taken at the next cabinet meeting. The government is determined to give more relief to the masses and check the price spiral, he added.

Mr Haq ruled out any differences between the provincial government and the district governments, saying the former worked according to the Constitution, while the latter was doing its job in its parameters.
