LAHORE, Oct 10: Bisma Akhtar of the host Kinnaird College (KC) bagged 35 points and was declared the best swimmer of the Punjab University girls Inter-Collegiate swimming championship Wednesday.

The KC also annexed the team title with 55 points.

Punjab University Teaching Department (PUTD) with nine points secured the second position while Home Economics College (HEC) finished third with eight points. Bisma Akhtar won all the eight finals.

Results:

100 metre freestyle: Bisma Akhtar (KC), Ambar Anwar (HE), Aleen Azhar (PUTD).

100 metres breaststroke: Bisma Akhtar, (KC), Rahina Akhtar, Ambar Anwar.

100 metres backstroke: Bisma Akhtar, Rahina Akhtar (KC), Aleen Azhar (PUTD).

100 metres butterfly: Bisma Akhtar, Rahina Akhtar (KC), Aleen Azhar (PTDC).

50 metres freestyle: Rahina Akhtar and Bisma Akhtar joined, Asma Noon (PUTDA), Ambar Anwar (HEC).

50 metres back-stroke: Bisma Akhtar, Rahina Akhtar (KC), Amber Anwar (HEC).

50 metres breaststroke: Bisma Akhtar, Rahina Akhtar, Aleen Azhar (PUTDA).

50 metres butterfly: Bisma Akhtar, Rahina Akhtar, Shamiha Lodhi (HEC).
