THATTA, April 14: Hundreds of power consumers from various towns including Laiqpur, Daro, Bannu, Khorwah and Jhok Sharif held a protest demonstration at the Taluka headquarter town, Mirpur Bathoro, against the unscheduled loadshedding by Hesco on Monday.

The protesters were led by Jamil Shoro, Shafi Memon, Rafique Issani, and Aslam Khairpuri.

After marching through the main roads, they held a sit-in on a section of the Sujawal-Hyderabad road blocking it for about two hours.

They also burnt tyres there and raised slogans against Hesco authorities.
