Union Nazim dismissed

CHARSADDA, April 14: A no-trust motion against a union nazim was passed and a notification for his dismissal was issued by the district coordination officer.

The no-confidence motion against Nazim union council Mandani Roohul Amin was passed with 12 votes against zero, reported official sources on Sunday. The DCO after issuing orders for his removal directed the union council to elect an acting nazim for the council.

The decision to remove the nazim was taken under Section 84(4) of the Local Government Ordinance 2001, sources said.
