Two killed over enmity

SHEIKHUPURA, April 12: Two people were killed on Saturday in a simmering enmity at Khanqah Dogran, about 36 kilometres from here.

Reports said Jabbar was standing at a wagon stand when his rival Munir and his accomplices opened fire on him, leaving him dead. No sooner had Jabbar’s death news reached his relatives, they took up arms and surrounded Munir’s house at Cheenay village. Seeing inmates, they showered bullets on them, killing Munir instantly.

SHOT DEAD: A woman was shot dead by her brother over suspicion of loose morals at Badoo village in Factory Area police precinct on Saturday.

Information gleaned by this correspondent revealed that Nasir, suspicious of his sister’s bad character, exchanged harsh words with her this morning. After some time, he shot dead his sister.
