Naib Nazim, landlord kidnapped

SUKKUR, April 10: A union council Naib Nazim and a landlord of Shikarpur area were kidnapped by bandits from Tipul village in Jaferabad district, Balochistan, on Thursday.

The Naib Nazim, Taiyab union council, Nadir Ali Shah, and a landlord of Lakhi Ghulam Shah, Nihal Mahar, were on way to Quetta in a car, driven by Dhani Bukhsh Mahar.

When they reached Tipul, some unidentified armed bandits intercepted the car and hijacked the car with its three occupants.

Later, the kidnappers released the driver with a message to pay a ransom of Rs800,000 for the release of the remaining two hostages.

SHOT DEAD: A man, Rahee Khan Tanwari, was shot dead and three others were injured the other day after they resisted a robbery bid in Kandhkot .

Aisha, Aamna and Serwar Shaikh were injured in incident.
