LAHORE, April 8: The entire region will remain ‘sensitive’ during the coming years as a result of aggression on Iraq, Senator Mushahid Hussain said on Tuesday.
He was speaking at the two-day national conference on “Pakistan: new challenges and options for regional and global adjustments”, organized by the Political Science Department of the Punjab University at New Campus.
He said the attack on Iraq lacked legitimacy and backing of the world community, including Pakistan.
Pakistan, he said, opposed the attack and condemned it as a matter of principle. The concept of pre-emptive right to strike should be discouraged.—APP
