ABBOTTABAD, Dec 4: The Abbottabad Board of Intermediate and  Secondary Education has notified that the annual matric examination, 2002, would start from March 28.

The candidates have been advised to deposit their examination and admission forms by Dec 2001 without late fee. With Rs100 late fee, the forms can be deposited up to Feb 27.

MA PAPERS: Students of MA (economics) of government colleges of Abbottabad have protested against different papers being set in the hilly and the plain areas in the annual examination by the Peshawar University.

According to the students, the examination, which concluded recently, was held under separate date sheets for hilly areas and the plain areas.

They appealed to the NWFP governor and members of the University Syndicate to inquire into the double standards.
