KARACHI, April 7: Six ships carrying containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Iwato, Mar Challenger to unload and load containers, Botany Triton to offload chemicals and Sorena to unload crude oil were berthed.

Sailing on the other hand was slow as only two ships, Australia Bridge and Action Express departed, while Panos-G, Kota Wajar and Sorena are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was moderates where a total tonnage of 59,469 tons comprising 4,012 tons of export cargo and 55,457 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kota Wajar, Beauty River, MOL Sincerity, APL Cairo and Bunga Masdua, with containers, Al-Cyonida, with crude oil.
