Shaheen and Nobles in final

LAHORE, Dec 3: Nobles Club and Shaheen Club entered final of the Lahore Ramazan-ul-Mubarik Inter-Club hockey tournament at the National Hockey Stadium Monday.

Nobles Club stroked out Youngster Club 5-4 after locking in 1-1 draw during the stipulated time.

Rana Zubair scored Nobles Club’s goal in the 20th minute. Youngsters Club equalised when Azmat converted a penalty-stroke in the second half.

Nobles Club converted all the five penalty-strokes while the losers managed four to lose a thrilling match.

Shaheen Club, however, crucshed Pakistan Union 4-0. Asif Pervez (11th minute), Saqlain (20th minute), Aqeel (27th minute) and Nadeem Iqbal (40th minute) shared the scoring honours for the winners.
